Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer
Elena chairs the firm’s executive and investment forums and is responsible for long-term strategy across private-client and institutional work. Her career has focused on portfolio construction and private-market partnerships, including advisory work through market cycles and governance transitions. She joined Aurelius in 2006 and became Managing Partner in 2018.
Partner, Head of Institutional Partnerships
David leads institutional partnerships and the translation of portfolio objectives into private-market mandates. Before joining Aurelius in 2012, he worked with pension, insurance, and endowment investors on allocation design and manager oversight. His work emphasises governance clarity, pacing discipline, and reporting that supports informed decisions.
Partner, Head of Wealth Advisory
Sofia leads wealth advisory for private clients and families with assets, responsibilities, and decision-makers across jurisdictions. She joined Aurelius in 2011 after roles in investment advisory and trust governance. Her work focuses on connecting portfolio architecture with liquidity planning, family governance, and the practical coordination of external specialists.
Partner, Private Equity
Marcus leads private-equity underwriting and portfolio engagement. He joined Aurelius in 2010 after investment and operating roles focused on business services and industrial technology. His career has centred on evaluating durable business models, aligning ownership plans with management teams, and monitoring the few operating priorities most relevant to long-term value creation.
Partner, Private Credit
Anika leads private credit, with responsibility for underwriting discipline and portfolio monitoring. She joined Aurelius in 2015 following lending and restructuring roles across sponsor-backed and family-owned businesses. Her approach begins with cash-flow resilience, covenant quality, and recovery analysis before considering the potential return from a credit.
Partner, Real Assets and Co-Investments
Thomas leads real assets and co-investments across the institutional platform. He joined Aurelius in 2014 after infrastructure-investing and project-finance roles in Europe and Asia. His work focuses on essential assets, contractual durability, operating complexity, and disciplined underwriting when partners invite Aurelius to invest alongside them.
